New Wenjie M5
The new Wenjie M5 will be officially launched on April 23. It is currently on pre-sale. The car will be officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25.
The appearance of the new Wenjie M5 has not changed much. The big mouth design of the extended-range version has been cancelled, keeping it consistent with the pure electric version. Details, such as the central brand logo and wheel hubs, are all blackened, and the rear brakes are also equipped with red brake calipers. The side adopts a coupe style, the windows are decorated with black trim strips, and the door handles are hidden. The rear adopts a ring-shaped taillight shape and a spoiler on the top, which looks sportier.
The overall layout of the interior is basically the same as that of the current model, and it will continue to be equipped with the Hongmeng cockpit. There are also three different interior colors: Shaohua Apricot, Amber Brown and Bird Feather Red.
In terms of power, the extended-range version will be equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender, and will be available in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The maximum power of the motor in the rear-wheel drive version is 200kW, while the maximum power of the four-wheel drive version is 365kW. . The battery capacity is 40kWh, and the CLTC range is 230km, 235km and 260km. The pure electric version also has rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The motor parameters are consistent with the extended-range version. The CLTC range is 534km, 602km and 620km.
LiXiang L6
L6 is definitely a very popular model of Li Auto and it is also the most popular model of Li Auto. The car will be officially launched on April 18.
The appearance of the L6 is consistent with the L series, continuing the family-style design language. The front face is very simple, with through-type daytime running lights on the top, matrix headlights on both sides, and a rectangular front grille on the bottom. The gate, as a whole, looks like a "concave" character. Viewed from the side, this car is very large. Its length, width and height are 4925/1960/1735mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2920mm. It is positioned as a medium to large SUV.
The interior also has a family-style design, which is basically the same as that of the Ideal L7. It is equipped with a central control screen and a passenger entertainment screen.
In terms of power, it will be equipped with a 1.5L range extender with a maximum power of 113kW, matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery, and a pure electric range of 172km. The chassis adopts an independent suspension with double wishbones at the front and five-link at the rear.
Cadillac IQ Argo
The American pure electric car, Cadillac's new mid-size SUV-IQ Aoge, will be officially launched at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25.
IQ Aoge continues the design style of IQ Ruige, retaining the front grille, and the interior can illuminate. On both sides are tear-eye headlights, which are highly recognizable. From the side, the lines of this car are relatively smooth and dynamic. The length, width and height of the car are 4822/1912/1644mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2954mm. The rear also uses vertically arranged taillights, echoing the headlights.
The interior is very similar to the IQ Ruige, equipped with a large curved screen and a three-spoke steering wheel, and there is also a dual-color interior, which is visually more youthful.
In terms of power, IQ Aoge will provide single and double motor power. The single motor has two versions of 150kW and 180kW, corresponding to a range of 615km and 536km, while the four-wheel drive version has a comprehensive power of 211kW and a corresponding range of 600km.

Among the SUV models shared in this issue, the new Wenjie M5 and Lili L6 will definitely have fierce competition. Their positioning and prices will be very similar, but I think the new Wenjie M5 will have a slight advantage in terms of release time.
