A New Choice for Automakers
Legalization of Electronic Rearview Mirrors
In recent years, with the rapid advancement of technology, the trends of automotive electrification, intelligence, and connectivity have become increasingly prominent. Electronic rearview mirrors are gradually emerging and are expected to become standard equipment in future new car models, completely replacing traditional rearview mirrors. It is worth noting that China's standard regulation for electronic rearview mirrors, GB 15084-2022 "Performance and Installation Requirements for Indirect Vision Devices for Motor Vehicles," has officially come into effect as of July 1, 2023. This national standard was formulated with reference to the European Union's standards for indirect vision devices, achieving full alignment with international standards. In particular, it includes technical requirements and test methods for Camera-Monitor System (CMS), also known as electronic rearview mirrors. This provides strong support for the access management of indirect vision devices in China's automotive industry and further accelerates the development of the electronic rearview mirror sector.

Breaking Through Limitations
The significant advantages of electronic rearview mirrors.
Electronic rearview mirrors consist of cameras and monitors, using external cameras to capture images and then displaying high-definition video inside the vehicle after data processing, providing drivers with a surround view of the vehicle. Compared to traditional rearview mirrors, electronic rearview mirrors offer several significant advantages. For instance, with the help of wide-angle lenses and displays, electronic rearview mirrors can provide drivers with a wider field of view; traditional rearview mirrors are easily affected by Adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, and snow, while electronic rearview mirrors ensure a clear view; at night or under strong light, electronic rearview mirrors can adjust brightness and contrast to optimize the visual effect and ensure driving safety.
However, with the development of automotive intelligence, the market's expectations for electronic rearview mirrors have evolved beyond mere display functions. Early CMS technology solutions were primarily display-based, but they have now progressively developed into comprehensive systems that integrate display and blind spot assistance warning functions. Moreover, compared to passenger cars, commercial vehicle electronic rearview mirrors are more complex. This is because large commercial vehicles like trucks, lorries, and buses have larger blind spots around the front, rear, and sides of the vehicle, and when turning right, the difference between the inner and outer wheels creates a particularly dangerous area. Therefore, commercial vehicle electronic rearview mirrors need to cover a wider range of blind spots and possess a richer set of auxiliary functions.
In the innovative application of commercial vehicle electronic rearview mirrors, Minsheng, as a leading enterprise in the vehicle monitoring industry, has made continuous explorations to promote the technological progress and development of electronic rearview mirrors.

Leading the Future with Intelligence
Minsheng CMS Solution Intelligent Upgrade!
The 12.3-inch electronic rearview mirror is one of Minsheng's innovative achievements in the commercial vehicle field. Equipped with dual-lens cameras installed on both sides of the vehicle, it uses a split-screen vertical display to simultaneously provide the driver with the main and wide-angle external rear views. This configuration meets the requirements of UN ECE R46 regulations. The UN ECE R46 regulation is a mandatory certification standard for CMS automotive electronic rearview mirrors set by the European Economic Commission. Obtaining this certification is a necessary condition for electronic rearview mirrors to enter the European market.Meeting the high standard requirements of UN ECE R46 regulations also proves that Minsheng's independently developed electronic rearview mirrors have the confidence to be sold in overseas markets.
Based on regulatory requirements, Minsheng's electronic rearview mirrors also come equipped with a series of AI-assisted functions. Through advanced AI intelligent pedestrian and vehicle detection warning algorithms, it can monitor pedestrians and vehicles around the vehicle in real-time, promptly alerting the driver to potential risks and effectively preventing collision accidents.
Additionally, it features a lane-change warning function. Before the vehicle changes lanes, the system actively emits audible and visual signals to alert the driver of approaching vehicles from behind, reminding the driver to pay attention to driving safety and further reducing the risk of safety incidents.
In addition, this newly upgraded electronic rearview mirror has integrated the functions of an on-board DVR and a display. It not only fulfills the basic functions of traditional rearview mirrors but also includes recording and playback capabilities. This means that during driving, the electronic rearview mirror can record the surrounding scenes in real-time, providing the driver with a driving record. The system is equipped with a G-sensor, which supports alarm recording for G-sensor collision detection, facilitating the analysis of vehicle abnormalities. These features can protect the driver from unreasonable damage in critical moments and assist in the intelligent management of the fleet.
It is particularly noteworthy that this electronic rearview mirror system also supports adding two additional 1080P cameras and a regular display. This allows for the monitoring of blind spots on the side and rear of the vehicle, further expanding the field of view and fully meeting the monitoring needs.
Just in May this year, in response to the common blind spot issues of large commercial vehicles and the diverse needs of customers, Minsheng launched two new CMS intelligent solutions: a 12.3-inch high-definition split-screen automotive electronic rearview mirror system and a 12.3-inch 360-degree panoramic monitoring electronic rearview mirror system.

The launch of these two CMS intelligent solutions not only highlights Minsheng's technological R&D capabilities but also further solidifies its leading position in the intelligent vehicle monitoring industry.
Despite the fact that electronic rearview mirrors will not completely replace traditional rearview mirrors in the short term, their importance in the wave of automotive intelligence is self-evident. With the rapid development of intelligent driving technology, electronic rearview mirrors, as a key component of smart connected vehicles, will undoubtedly bring revolutionary changes to the automotive rearview mirror market. In this wave of intelligence, Minsheng has undoubtedly demonstrated forward-looking insight and outstanding innovative capabilities, with its high-quality electronic rearview mirror intelligent solutions playing a significant role in promoting the technological development of indirect vision devices for commercial vehicles, reducing the blind spots of large vehicles, and enhancing driving safety.
