Innoviz推出最新高清激光雷达传感器成本降低性能获突破

日前，激光雷达传感器和感知软件供应商Innoviz Technologies推出了下一代传感器Innoviz360。Innoviz360激光雷达将与Innoviz的感知软件协同运行，该软件将激光雷达原始点云数据转换为高质量输出，用于物体检测、分类和追踪。

全新Innoviz360高清激光雷达传感器超越了传统的、标准分辨率的旋转式解决方案，这些解决方案的性能有限、价格昂贵、体积大，且可靠性不高。传统的旋转式解决方案最多只能使用128条扫描线，而全新轻量型Innoviz360激光雷达支持多种扫描软件配置，最多可使用1280条扫描线，比传统360度激光雷达更具成本效益，且更耐用。

Innoviz360具有高清宽视场(360°x64°)和低成本的优势，将帮助Innoviz克服主要挑战，大规模实现L4-L5汽车应用(如机器人出租车、班车和卡车)的全自动化，并为Innoviz开辟汽车领域之外的新市场，包括物流、测绘、工业和智能基础设施。Innoviz预计将于2022年第四季度推出Innoviz360高清激光雷达样品。

Innoviz联合创始人兼首席执行官Omer Keilaf表示，“新架构以其高分辨率和宽视场，突破了传统和标准分辨率360度旋转式产品的性能和成本限制，不仅满足不断增长的汽车市场需求，而且还可支持新兴市场，如智能基础设施、物流和工业。”

Innoviz360 LiDAR可服务于NVIDIA DRIVE等平台。NVIDIA DRIVE是一个端到端开发平台，也是设计和安全部署自动驾驶汽车的参考架构。英伟达高级工程副总裁Gary Hicok表示，“像Innoviz360这样的创新解决方案在我们开放的、可扩展的DRIVE平台上运行，可以帮助实现真正的自动驾驶。”
