On May 29, after the market closed, Guangfeng Technology, one of the first companies to list on the STAR Market, announced that it had recently received a "Notice of Development Designation" from Seres Automotive, once again becoming its supplier of vehicle optical solutions. The company will supply intelligent cockpit display products for a new model of the Seres range.
Optical Peak Technology stated that the designated project is expected to enter mass production and supply within 2025, with an anticipated project lifecycle of 3 years. The company will strictly adhere to the customer's order requirements and complete the development, testing verification, production preparation, and delivery of the specified products within the agreed timeframe.
It is reported that this is the second fixed-point collaboration between Optical Peak Technology and Seres Automotive since their first fixed-point cooperation in January 2023. The model from the first collaboration, the Aito M9, was officially launched in December 2023 and entered a intensive mass production and delivery phase in March 2024. According to official news from HarmonyOS Intelligent Transportation, the Aito M9 achieved cumulative orders exceeding 80,000 units within 136 days of its market launch. This figure has refreshed the sales record for domestic luxury cars, equivalent to an average of nearly 18,000 units sold per month, while also topping the sales chart for luxury cars priced above 500,000 yuan in April.
Optical Peak Technology's first-quarter report shows that the company's vehicle-grade projection large screen has been fully verified by the market, and the vehicle-mounted optical business has entered the period of revenue contribution. According to the delivery rhythm of automotive companies, the company's vehicle-mounted optical business achieved an operating income of 48.0268 million yuan in the first quarter. As of now, the company has cumulatively received 7 fixed-point projects.
CITIC Construction Investment believes that intelligence is gradually becoming an important innovation trend in new energy vehicles. Optical Peak Technology has innovatively applied laser projection solutions to smart cockpit displays and headlights. With the intensive mass production and delivery of the Aito M9, the company has achieved a breakthrough in vehicle-mounted business revenue while its vehicle-mounted products have also been fully verified by the market. It is expected that more fixed-point projects will be obtained in the second half of the year. As automobile intelligence moves towards a higher level, it is anticipated that Optical Peak Technology's vehicle-mounted business will experience explosive growth in the future.
