However, as the penetration rate increases, it becomes increasingly urgent to solve the heat insulation problem caused by strong sunlight. In response to the heat insulation problem, most car companies currently enhance the heat insulation effect by changing the color of the glass and adding sunshades. However, such methods either have little effect or sacrifice the large space and transparency originally achieved through the panoramic canopy.

1. PDLC dimming glass
PDLC (polymer dispersed liquid crystal) is a liquid crystal dispersed in the matrix of an organic solid polymer capsule in the form of micron-sized droplets. In the power-off state, due to the light emitted by the small droplets composed of liquid crystal molecules, The axis is in a free orientation, and its refractive index does not match that of the matrix. When light passes through the matrix, it is strongly scattered by the droplets and appears in an opaque milky white state. Applying an electric field can adjust the optical axis orientation of the liquid crystal droplets. When the refractive index of the two matches, the liquid crystal droplets appear transparent.

2. EPC color changing glass
The new intelligent reversible electronically controlled dimming film material developed by Zhonghe Technology Postdoctoral Workstation, namely EPC electropolarized crystal (electric polarized crystal) preparation technology, is a kind of polarized crystal suspended and dispersed in a polymer network. Film-forming optoelectronic materials. By inducing the phenomenon of charge electroosmosis, the specific movement/arrangement of charged particles under the action of electric field is used to achieve the blocking and transmission of light.
When there is no voltage, the particles are evenly distributed, thereby reflecting and scattering light, and the film appears dark; when a voltage is applied, the particles move in the direction of the electric field and form an aggregation state, reducing the reflection and scattering of light, and the light transmittance significantly increases. Large and thus appear bright.
3. DLC dimming glass
DLC all-solid-state flexible dye liquid crystal film (Dye liquid crystal) adds special dichroic dye molecules to the liquid crystal material. In the absence of an electric field, the long axes of the liquid crystal molecules and the long axes of the dichroic dye molecules are parallel to ITO. On the surface of the film, light will be basically absorbed by the dye liquid crystal, and the film will appear in a dark opaque state; when an electric field is applied, the liquid crystal molecules and dichroic dye molecules will rotate in the direction of the electric field. When the liquid crystal molecules and dichroic dye molecules When the short axis is perpendicular to the film surface, the amount of light absorbed by the dye is reduced, and the film becomes light-colored and transparent.
3. Application cases
